MoU in the field of Homoeopathic Research

The second day of the visit of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Israel to India witnessed a unique event in the history of Homoeopathy wherein the two countries joined hands to cooperate in the field of research in Homeopathic Medicine. To mark this auspicious beginning, an agreement between Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, an autonomous body of Ministry of AYUSH and Center for Integrative Medicine, Share Zedek Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel was exchanged by Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH and Mr. Daniel Carmon, Ambassador of Israel to India in the presence of Sh. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India and Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel. The MoU is one of the nine pacts inked by the two sides at Hyderabad House today, others being in the areas of oil and gas, healthcare, science & technology, cybersecurity etc.


This pact is aimed to formally address the demand & strengthen propagation of Homoeopathic system of medicine in Israel by:
• Cooperation in the field of research & education to plan innovative studies;
• Joint organization of educational conferences, seminars etc and
• Exchange of experts for training of practitioners, scientists, teaching professionals and students.
The memorable event was also attended by Dr.Menachem Oberbaum, Director, Center for Integrative Medicine, Share Zedek Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel and Dr.Raj K Manchanda, Director General,Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, Govt. of India; the two organizations who shall be taking this cooperation forward and have already developed the protocol to undertake the first innovative unique study in the field of paediatric medicine.
