Antarbharti Homoeopathic College was started in
the year 1975. Initially the college was started
with Marathi medium with the course of D.H.M.S [4
years] with eligibility of 10 PCB under Bombay Board
of homoeopathic medicine and Biochemistry act. It
is under the management of Antarbharati Ashram Society.
The college existed till 1983 as further admission
process was stopped due to the C.C.H 1983 ACT which
changed the admission criteria of 10 PCB to 10+2
science in English medium.
1989 the college was restarted with enthusiasm,
D.H.M.S [C.C.H], in english medium under MCH Board.
In 1994 B.H.M.S. course of Nagpur University was
started. Then in 1998 all state level colleges were
merged under the Maharashtra University of Health
and Sciences and B.H.M.S 5 years degree course was
college is recognized by Central Council of Homoeopathy,
New Delhi, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, New
Delhi and State Govt. of Maharashtra. It is affiliated
to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
It provides the degree course, BHMS of 5 ½
College is having six equipped lecture halls having
excellent acoustics, good lighting and ventilation,
and latest audio-visual teaching aids with a seating
capacity of 60 students each. It has an auditorium
with a seating capacity of 225.The college has a
central library with vast collection of books for
extensive reading with many national and international
periodicals. It has separate boys and girls hostel
with round the clock security. A well equipped computer
laboratory is provided with internet facilities.
college is attached to a 50 bedded hospital with
separate OPD and IPD facilities. Dr. N.M. Kondalkar
an academician with wide experience serves as the
principal of the college
