Dr. Diwan Harish talked with me telephonically just on 10th Dec, 2011. He was very modest. We may not forget that he was the Hon. Advisor (Homoeopathy) to Govt. of India, and the Chairman, Scientific Advisory Committee of CCRH. He has been the sitting member of CCH besides being the former Vice- President of it. May his soul rest in peace.

Prof.(Dr.) Chaturbhuja Nayak, Formerly Director General, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy

The World Homoeopathic Community has lost a legendary figure and a doyen. He was an erudite scholar, highly reputed clinician, prolific writer and a versatile orator. He was a strong votary of classical Homoeopathy and never compromised with principles. Being a member of Central Council of Homoeopathy and a popular teacher, he had immensely contributed towards upliftment of homoeopathic education; in the capacity of Chairman of Scientific Advisory Committee of Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, he pioneered the upliftment of homoeopathic research; in the capacity of chairman of Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia Committee, he played a vital role for the growth of homoeopathy drug development. He was a strong pillar for me, while formulating and implementing research projects in Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy. He owes a lion’s share in upholding the status of Indian Homoeopathy at the international level. Although his mortal body is no more with us, yet his moral values and advocacy for classical Homoeopathy will remain as a guiding force for the homoeopathic fraternity for all times to come.

Dr. Eswara Das, Consultant Adviser (Homoeopathy), Department of AYUSH

The demise of this giant personality in the Homeopathic sector is a great loss not only to the Indian Homeopaths, but to the World fraternity. He was a true follower of Hahnemanian principles throughout life and shown the modern world the principles enunciated by the Master is true even today inspite of strong opposition from the so called disgruntled young scientists. We lost a great pillar and dedicate ourselves to the cause and principles Dr. Diwan Harishchand stood far. I pay my homage to this great soul.

Dr.S.P.Singh, Former Advisor, Government of India

It is a great personal loss to me to loose an excellent teacher, clinician and a great stalwart in homoeopathic profession. I had an opportunity to work with him while he was Honorary Advisor (Homoeo) to Government and learned from him great many things which I couldn’t have done from other sources. His contribution especially in preparation of HPI which ultimately is helping the whole Homoeopathy drug Industry is highly commendable. May God rest his soul in peace.
