Survival Of The Fittest ….

Dear Readers,
"Somehow, even in the worst of times, the tiniest fragments of good survive.
It was the grip in which one held those fragments that counted.” -Melina Marchetta

It is always a thought in a budding practitioners’ mind as to how to establish once own practice of homoeopathy, genuinely in the shortest, most reliable, and most harmless way. The only and most important way, is proving the efficacy of homoeopathy with scientific evidence. Here comes handy the renal and ureteric calculi.

It is an acute mechanical condition, easy to confirm the diagnosis with Ultra sonogram which is cost effective and easily accessible. People will approach homoeopaths for their fear of surgery or monitory problems.

Relief from the pain and clearing obstruction of calculus is possible from few hours to few days. The visual of passing the stones naturally through urine without surgery clears any doubt or apprehension in homeopathy and lays down firm ground for its scientific base .You can win over the patient, relatives and the prior attending doctor from other schools of medicine, by the remarkable results with homoeopathy. Such scientific, quick, gentle and harmless cures stamp the success of homeopathy.

However for this, the homoeopaths are expected to know the pathophysiology of the calculi - its origin, cause, types, clinical manifestations, management, complications etc. Importance for complete knowledge of Materia Medica and limitations of homoeopathy is also a prerequisite.

Remember, Stuart Close says,

"An over enthusiast or disbeliever both bring discredit to Homoeopathy".

In the struggle for existence the fittest survives.
