HMAI celebrated Hahnemann day

          KATHUA. APR. 13: The Homoeopathic Medical Association of India (HMAI) Jammu and Kashmir chapter organized a function to celebrate the 259th birth anniversary of the Dr. Hahnemann. Dr. B. R. Dubb, President, J&K Board Homoeopathic System of Medicines stressed the importance of "evidence-based" treatment. He spoke on the life and the pioneering work done by Hahnemann. All technical and nontechnical staff members from organization were present in the meeting and participated in the discussion thereafter. Dr. Dubb urged young homoeopaths to be creative towards the overall development of homoeopathic system of medicine. He said practitioners of the system should scrupulously follow the methods of Hahnemann.

       During the discussion, Association members unanimously passed resolution in support of demanding opening of J&K State Government Homoeopathic Medical College alike Ayurvedic and Unani System of Medicines. They also demanded to open Homoeopathic Units at District Hospitals to adjust the unemployed doctors and paramedical staff. Other than this, the members demanded of appointing a Homoeopathic doctor in every AYUSH Dispensary.

       Dr. Lalit Sharma, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Dr. K K Mahotra, Dr. Madan Lal Raina, Dr. Meenakshi Chib, Dr. Ritu Bala, Hazura Singh, Bhaskar Raina, Satish Sharma, Ravi Kumar, Rajinder Kumar, Gopal Sharma, Shashi Kumar, Mohinder Nath and many others were present on the occasion.
