World Homoeopathic Day

          BHUBANESWAR.APR.10: The Orissa Homoeopathic Druggist Association celebrated Dr.Hahnemann’s 259th birthday as World Homoeopathic Day at Jayadev Bhawan, Bhubaneswar. “The good aspect of the homoeopathy treatment is that it cures a person completely without causing any side effects”, said Former Director of CBI, Uma Shankar Mishra while addressing the event. He said, it is a symptomatic treatment. Proper use of Homoeopathy is very much necessary in the state. As it is safe, cheaper and an effective method of healing, more research should be conducted on Homoeopathy along with raising its popularization and awareness among the masses.

         Speaking on the occasion, Former Minister Dr. Debendra Nath Mansingh said that many diseases are cured by Homoeopathy. Research should be conducted to come out with medicines for AIDS, Cancer and other many other diseases.

         Dr. Akshay Mishra, Guest of Honour said “The efforts of Orissa Homoeopathic druggist Association for development of Homoeopathy is praiseworthy”. He also appreciated the Association for conducting research and organizing seminars on Homoeopathy in Odisha.

         On this occasion, best graduates of some Homoeopathic colleges were felicitated with Krushna Chandra Jena Memorial Award. Dr. Y. Sahu Memorial Award was conferred on Dr. Shankarsan Das Mohapatra, Dr. Narayan Rao Memorial Award on Dr. Nagendranath Patnaik and Utkal Homoeo Pratibha Samman was conferred on Dr. Debendranath Mansingh for their outstanding performances.
