Community development and integrality

Dear Readers,
We are grateful to the Government of India Period, the Indian Government has taken following important steps to promote and popularize homoeopathic treatment and medicines during the 11th Five Year Plan and the Cabinet has approved for establishing of a North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy at Shillong, Meghalaya. We extend our gratitude for increasing the seats from 50 to 93 at National Institute of Homoeopathy and PG from 18 to 36 adding three more specialization in subjects

Many states had established in Primary Health Centre and Community Health Centre under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM). National campaign on Mother and Child Health has been launched and the awareness of Homoeopathic System is done through the print and electronic media under Information, Education and Communication Program and through AROGYA MELAS had given overwhelming response from the public sector
We extend our gratitude to the CCRH. Many research projects, collaborative Research and pharmaceutical standards had been published by the dedicated involvement of Scientists and the education is standardized by CCH by implementing new updates. The council also puts lot of energy to regularize Registration and action against the quacks.

Today in India actual figures around 285,000 homeopaths, 186 homeopathic colleges, over 6000 homeopathic dispensaries and about 250 hospitals! However still we need more to result of the effectiveness of homeopathy in treating a wide range of illnesses.

Even though the Government had given us many opportunities, our service to the public is not up to the expectation. Every practitioner should contribute by opening clinics and reciprocally help our system to grow. A clinical practitioner can employ himself as a research scholar when he dedicate in case recording, processing, evaluating and manage the case for further follow ups with documentary evidences.

Such integrity is expected from every practitioner will reap the fruit and enter into the mainstream of medicine and our community development.

with regards
