Dr Hahnemann was a German allopathic physician. In 18th century many injurious methods used as treatment of disease, like Venesection, Blood letting, Polypharmacy, Black magic, Evil energy and also drugs were administered with more side effects and complications. Dr Hahnemann was dissatisfied and he fought against this injurious methods. Hahnemann had strong desire to find out new treatment of cure without side effect.

Initially he translated books for business, to earn money. Inception of Law of Signature by Paracelsus and his enhancement in knowledge had made him to discover homoeopathy while translating “Cullen’s Materia Medica” from English to German. He discovered the similimum principle “Like cure likes” by testing the cinchona the drug that produce the symptoms can cure similar symptoms in malaria. Experimentation on him, friends, relatives continued with great extent of verification of symptoms. Matetria Medica pura appeared.

Even though he inspired the truth in 1790, 1796 is the birth of Homoeopathy .The principle was published in “The Journal of practical Medicine” by Hufeland. The instrument of application of knowledge “organon of Medicine” was contributed with different improved editions from Torgau , Kothen and finally the sixth edition at Paris after his demise. His experimentation and practice at Kothen made him to better understand the chronic diseases, which is another contribution to the homoeopaths to treat efficiently “The theory of chronic diseases” to understand the miasmatic infection and also torched with theory on Individualisation and understanding the Vital force, the vital principle of the living based on nature.

Drug dynamisation theory appeared with different potencies the decimal, centesimal and finally the fifty millesimal potencies to react, meet the dynamic nature of the disease and also to reduce the toxicity.

Dr.Hahnemann is a gentle rebel, and contributed the wonderful medical science to the world.
