1. Radiological Quiz

   A 72-year-old lady, tall, emaciated presented with a three-month history of colicky lower abdominal pain and rectal bleeding. Rectal and sigmoidoscopic examination was unremarkable. A barium enema was requested. This image is from a barium enema series showing a typical ‘apple core’ stricture.

2. Anamnesis
   

     A 60-year-old businessman came to a homoeopathic clinic with complaints of breathlessness since five years. He was dark, obese and his eyes were puffy on both sides. He gave history of severe anaemia with gastric ailments, distention of abdomen, flatulence. His appetite is good, thirst normal. constipated, Pain in abdomen occasionally noticed when he is constipated; Pain > after defecation Breathlessness is worse at 3 am and better by sitting up and leaning forward. Has cough with white expectoration coming in paroxysm.
