Dr. Jyothi Vijaykumar, a lecturer and clinician, A. M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College writes “In my experience, maximum number of cases of uterine fibroids presented with menstrual disturbances like Polymennorrhea, Metrorhagia, and Mennorhagia. Patients are anxious, fearful and in most of the cases, they try to avoid surgery. Most of the patients were advised to undergo hysterectomy and few numbers they themselves want to go for Hysterectomy because of the Hemorrhage. Homoeopathy plays an important role not only removing the symptoms but also reducing the uterine pathology.

“To cut them out doesn't cure them, cutting them out removes the effect of the disease, but doesn't remove the disease itself. It is like cutting off the tops of weeds they grow again, either at the same place or in another place. Months of careful treatment is required for their cure. When thus cured is cured.”-Kent.
Initially for menstrual disturbances Fraxinus Americana Q works out miraculously, it works like a pessary for uterine bleeding due to fibroids. Once the bleeding comes under control patient is asked to taper down the Tincture followed by Constitutional medicine.
