Prof. Dr.S.Radhakrishnan, former principal, Government Homoeopathic Medical College, former member, Central Council for Homoeopathy is a, well known senior academician, continues his service as an educationist, serving as visiting professor and guide at Vinayaka Misson’s Homoeopathy Medical College, Salem. He positioned in various posts in the Madurai Kamarajar University and Dr.MGR Medical University and had inspected many colleges in India under central council for Homoeopathy, Government of India. He also served as a member of Education committee. He chaired, moderated many scientific seminars.

He is very affectionate to the students, faculties and the most respected homoeopath in our country who had stolen hearts of many homoeopaths with his own inspiring qualities. His simplicity and ever smiling face had stolen every hearts of his students. He never failed to praise his students, his fellow physicians on their contributions, occasions and proud about their growth. He was graciously spelled by his followers and well wishers as “SR” and he has been praised by every heart in the country who live within and abroad. He is dedicated for social reforms in the Homoeopathic fraternity. He had served as an examiner under Dr. MGR Medical University, and many deemed universities.

He was instrumental for the development of Government Homoeopathy Medical College in Tamilnadu, serving as principal for long period at Chennai and Tirumangalam. He was born at Allinagaram,Theni District in Tamil Nadu on 4th June 1941, Joined as principal at Government Homoeopathy Medical College ,Chennai in 1979 and retired from his service on 30th June 1999.
