Prof. Dr.D.P.Rastogi Passed Away


  New Delhi.Dec.15 Prof. Dr.D.P.Rastogi, the Homoeopathic legend, former Director, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, former principal Nehru Homoeopathy Medical College, passed away following cardiac arrest on 15th Dec 2010 by morning 9-30am at his residence.
   Dr. Dharam Prakash Rastogi, alias Dr.D.P.Rastogi, aged 71 years , born in 8th July 1939 at, Haldayar, Bijnor District, Uttar Pradesh , India completed his schooling joined at Calcutta Homoeopathy Medical College . He continued his post graduation studies at Royal London Hospital and Glasgow.

He joined the government service and promoted as principal of Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College. Later he served as Director of Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy and retired from government service.
  He was married to Dr.Baladevi Rastogi, lived with one son and two daughters. Dr.Navneet Rastogi was married to Dr.Sandhya Rastogi and lives at New Delhi now. His daughters, Dr.Leena Rastogi lives at USA and Ms. Shafali Rastogi, housewife lives at New Delhi.

     NEW DELHI.DEC. 18: The Homoeopathic Medical Association of India (HMAI) hosted the 19th all India Homoeopathic Congress of the Homoeopathic Medical Association of India at Hotel Hilton, Janak Puri. The conference was dedicated to Dr.Rastogi and two minutes silence was observed

     CHENNAI.DEC.17. Dr. Kopikar foundation for Homoeopathy and IHMA Chennai chapter jointly organized a condolence meet at Bala Mandir, T.Nagar. Dr.Mohamed Aleem, Dr.K.Srinivasan, Dr.R.Gnanasambandam, Dr.P.V.Venkataraman, Dr.M.Ravidran, Dr.Vasudevan, Dr.Jeyesh V. Sanghvi, Dr.N.R.Jayakumar, Dr. Mathews Jo, Dr.AswinKumar and many homoeopaths participated and spoke.

     BANGALORE.DEC.15: The staff and students of Government Homoeopathy Medical College, paid their tribute to Dr. Rastogi, held at Bartiya Vidya Bhavan at 2 pm in conjunction with District level orientation program for Mother and Child.

     The Homoeopathy Doctors Association , Nagercoil observed silent prayer and paid their tributes to the departed soul. Dr.Sivasubramanian, Dr.K.Chidambara Natarajan, Dr.N.Subramanian, former principal, Hahnemann Homoeopathy Medical College, Dr.P.S Nathan Dr.Ebi Moses participated Many Homoeopaths were shocked to hear the sudden demise and expressed their greif to Dr.Navneet Rastogi, the youngest son who is committed to fulfill his dreams.
