Homoeopathy Day Rally 2008 |
 BANGALORE.APRIL.4:
The Homoeopathic Medical Association of India,
Karnataka State Branch, organized a Homoeopathy
Day Rally, to celebrate the 253rd Birthday Anniversary
of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. The program was intended
to create awareness about Homoeopathy.
The rally started from Mahatma
Gandhi Statue, M.G. Road, Bangalore. The chief
Guest to the event, Sri. M.K. Shankaralinge
Gowda, Secretary Govt. of Karnataka, Dept. of
Health and Family Welfare flagged off the rally.
Dr. Shantha Kumari, Deputy Director, Homoeopathy,
Dept. of AYUSH, Govt. of Karnataka, Dr. Veerabramhachary,
President, Karnataka Board of Homoeopathic System
of Medicine, (Govt. of Karnataka), Dr. B.T.
Rudresh, President, HMAI and Dr. M.R. Srivatsan,
Executive Member, Central Council of Homoeopathy
were participated.
Many Doctors, Students and well-wishers of Homoeopathy
joined the Homoeopathy Day Rally. The Rally
culminated at Cubbon Park.

VADODARA, MAY.4: HMAI vadodara Unit organized
a Seminar on May 4 at vadodara. Dr.R.D.Patel, Assistant
Director was the chief guest to the occasion and he inaugurated
the section. Dr Mita Mody, President, welcomed the gathering.
The scientific session started with
Dr Amar Nikam, a renowned physician, delivered his speech
on critical cases. Many practitioners, faculties and students
attended the seminar. Dr Pankaj Patel, Secretary proposed
vote of thanks. |

GORAKHPUR.MAY.4: Homoeo Friends organization
hosted a National Scientific workshop at Tirth hall near
Tarang Takij. Dr.Ramjee Singh, the elected president, Central
council of Homoeopathy garlanded Dr.Hahnemann's statue. Dr.R.
Dubey, Principal- M.H.H C, Muzaffarpur was the chief guest to
the occasion.
Dr. Manjulendra Pt. Singh, President of the
organization welcomed the gathering. Dr. Gopi Krishna Shangloo,
Dr. N. D. Sindhi and Dr. Girish Gupta were also participated.
The scientific session started after the inaugural
session. Dr. Prabhakar Shetty presented a paper on “Diabetic
neuropathy and Diabetic foot”. Dr. Girish Gupta presented
his topic on 'Thyroid'. Dr. A. K. Singh spoke on 'Selection of
remedy through facial expression'. Dr. Pankaj Srivastava illustrated
the cured cases of Osteomalacia and Rickets.
The program ended with vote of thanks.

Hahnemann Birthday Celebration |
NAGERCOIL.APRIL10: Tamil Nadu Homoeopathic
Association (TNHA) Kanyakumari District Chapter
celebrated Hahnemann's 253rd birthday at hotel pioneer
paradise, Nagercoil. Dr.Eby Moses, secretary of
association welcomed gathering.Dr.K.Chidambara Natrajan,
president of the association inaugurated the function
by lightening the silver lamp, and gave the presidential
address.
Dr.Winston Vargheese, Lecturer,
Sarada Krishna Homoeopathic Medical College talked
about Dr.Hahnemann's life history and contribution
to the world. Dr.Dhurairaj; secretary of Tirunelveli
chapter gave the keynote address. Dr.Roy.Y.Das senior
Medical officer, Kerala state gave the guest lecture
on role of Homoeopathic medicines in acute diseases.
Dr.Jothi Natarajan, organizing
secretary gave the vote of thanks .Dr.G.sukumar,
Dr.Sibi also spoke on the occasion. One-minute silence
was observed in memory of Dr.S.P.Koppikar's soul..

at Sai Sangam
Hotel Auditorium.
Dr. Gurumurthy, Director, Belgaum Institute of Medical Science
inaugurated the event. Dr. Jayanth Jadhav, Secretary, Belgaum
unit, Dr. M.R. Srivatsan, Executive Member, Central Council of
Homoeopathy, Dr. B.T. Rudresh, President, H.M.A.I., Karnataka
State Branch, Sri. Abu Shaikh, Managing Trustee, A.M. Shaikh Homoeopathic
Medical College, Belgaum, Dr. Veerabramhachary, President, Karnataka
Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Sri. Gopal Jinagouda,
Trustee, Bharatesh Education Trust, Dr. A.B. Jayanth, General

Homoeopathy for Gynaecological disorders |

BERHAMPUR
FEB.14: Homoeopathy with the help of modern diagnostic
equipments can be a major helpline in treating chronic
gynaecological disorders, opinion experts at a seminar
organized at the Biju Patnaik Homoeopathic medical college.
Union Minister of State for Rural Development, Chandrasekhar
Sahu inaugurated the seminar. Deputy adviser of AYUSH,
Sadananda Sahu and L.K.Nanda, principal of Government
Homoeopathic Medical College in Bhuvaneshwar and principal
of Biju Patnaik homoeopathy college A.P. Sadangi attended
this seminar and spoke on success of homoeopathic remedies
for gynaecological disorders.
Homoeopathy is one of the oldest and most widespread methods
of alternative healing, which has a large following in
India. With examples the experts elucidated how it can
be used as a potent weapon to deal with cases of chronic
gynaecological disorders like infertility and fibroids
in uterus.
They advised the budding practitioners of the system to
put extra emphasis on diagnosis, as it is quite difficult
to find the true homoeopathic remedy for a particular
patient.
The physical symptoms, mental traits and aspects of personality
have to be taken into account to decide upon the medicine.

Homoeo Friends organization announced the third award
ceremony in conjunction with the National scientific seminar.
Dr. Prabhakar Shetty was the recipient of “Homoeo
Ratna-2008”, Dr. Gopi Krishna Shangloo received
the “Homoeo Bhushan-2008”, Dr. Sanjeev Garg
conferred with “Homoeo Shree-2008” and the
life time achievement award “Living legend 2008
“ was awarded to Dr. N. D. Sindhi. “Kala Siromani-2008”
award was also conferred to an artist Vishal Tripathi.

Prof. Dr.A.K.Gupta was conferred with “Bharat
Excellence Award” for his contributions. The prize
was distributed in a national Seminar on” “Economic
Growth and National Unity” organized by the friendship
forum of India. He was the recipient of Hahnemann Award
of the Millennium and Lord Dhanwantri Award.

drugs (Ayush) will be spending Rs 26 crore towards quality
