I was called by the patient's brother to treat a Bed sore case, who was suffering from Demyelinating disorder with sclerotic lesion of brain, He was 35 years old male, bedridden from the age of 12 yrs. I was informed to treat bedsore alone and patient being under allopathic treatment for his prolonged illness.

      Initially the patient developed weakness in both lower limbs, consulted a neurologist diagnosed as muscular dystrophy, Currently the loss of function extended progressively to the upper limbs also. Now the imaging studies had revealed the patient suffers with Demyelinating disorder with sclerotic lesion of brain.

      I observed the patients condition is almost crippled for many years, Immobility had invited bedsore. I turned the patient and observed the Bed sore. The ulcer is

     "Punched out with clear margin, sharp edges, sero sanguineous discharge, measuring 5cm length, 5cm breadth, non-offensive, with exposed muscles and bones on floor of ulcer. Pain not appreciated but tenderness expressed by patient during examination. Surrounding area is very black."

      The family members informed me that thermal reaction of the patient was hot.

Prescription:

          R/x Calendula Oil for External Use.

     I also advised the attenders to change the position constantly and use waterbed. Photo was not taken.

• Ulcer improved well with adequate granulation tissue within 10 days.
• Serosanguinous discharge seen.
• Calendula Oil - Externally.

• Ulcer reduced in size with well - marked healing tissue.
• No Serosanguinous discharge seen.

    After seeing the improvement, his brother persuaded me to treat his Neuron disease also. Now the patients is on Stramonium 200, indicated as it fits the following symptoms.

• Can not bear solitude or darkness.
• Must have light and company.
• Laughing, Hallucination of voices.
  The patient is still on treatment.
