| “Minute Gun” cough during day, whooping cough at night,
warmth, drinking, singing, laughing, weeping, lying down after mid
night. |
Whooping cough is provoked by anger, eating and culminates in vomiting
of mucous associated with drowsiness and prostration, thirstless,
coated tongue, rattling chest. |
Indicated in chubby children, mucous is like that of
Coccus Cacti unlike Coccus the aggravation is towards evening. |
Stiffness goes rigid, loses breath, grows pale, then
relaxes and vomits. Phlegm with relief. Convulsion in whooping cough,
burning as frightful spasms esp on left side. |
Cough better by swallowing cold water. Cough uninterrupted,
breath completely exhausted, cramps begin in fingers and toes. |
| Becomes rigid with choking sound down in oesophagus
as paroxysm end. Not relieved by eating, stomach bloated, get hungry.
Grinds teeth. |
Violent tickling cough if child gets angry. Begins
to cry before cough(Bell.) knows it is coming and dreads it. |
Patients get a sensation of coldness in the throat.
During the rough, barking and whistling cough chilliness, shuddering
and accumulation of frothy mucous in mouth are prominent concomitants. |
Racking paroxysmal cough (Drosera) tough ropy viscid
mucous, very difficult to expel, child on awakening in the morning
is immediately seized with paroxysmal cough. |
Cough is worse in a crowded place. Urine smells sour.
Cough with expectoration. |
