Council of Homoeopathy paid its tributes to Samuel Hahnemann
on the occasion of birth anniversary celebration held
at council office. Dr.Priya Mahindre, the President;
Dr. Ajit Funde Vice – President; Dr.Arun Bhasme,
the Vice president (Elect) Central Council of Homoeopathy,
Dr. V.R. Kavishwar, Dr. S.M. Desarda, the members of
CCH garlanded Hahnemann Portrait.
Speaking on the occasion Dr.Arun Bhasme said that the
practice of Homoeopathy itself would be a true homage
to Dr. Samuel Hahnemann.
He added further “ India is a leading country
in the field of Homoeopathy on global level. At present
there are182 Homoeopathic colleges and 32 P.G. colleges
in the country. Simultaneously the continuous research
work is also in progress and there is a great demand
from across the world for the technical and professional
knowledge of Homoeopathy from our country.
Dr. Ghorpade,Chief Administrative Officer, Directorate
of Ayurveda , Dr. Malokar, Dr. Bachhav , Dr. Mahendra
Chavan, Dr. Goel, Professor Dr. P.M. Dixit, also participated.
Dr. Kachpure, Dr. D.K. Patil, Dr. Smt. Indulkar, Registrar
Dr. B.D. Mathpati also present on this occasion.

Convocation of MGR Medical Varsity |
 CHENNAI.MARCH.28:
His Excellency Thiru Surjit Singh Burnala ,Governer
of Tamil Nadu participated in the 16th Convocation of
Dr MGR Medical University. Thiru KKSSR Ramachandran,
Minister for Health and family welfare and Vice Chancellor
K.Meer Mustafa Hussain were also present on the occasion
Eminent economist Montek Singh Ahluwalia delivered the
convocation address and he was conferred with a honoris
causa degree by The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
About 8755 graduates had been awarded degrees and diplomas
to the students of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and
Indian systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy. of them
2,486 in person, says a press release here. A total
of 58 gold medals and 19 silver medals will also be
given to meritorious students.

CHANDIGARH, APRIL 7: Haryana will soon have a
National Institute of Homeopathy, said Dr Vimal Kumar
Dhawan, Member of the Central Council of Homeopathy, at
the All India Homeopathic seminar today.
The Health Ministry has said that “if the Haryana
government provides 30 acres of land, the premier institute
can be opened”. Today Health Minister Kartar Devi
announced that Haryana is willing to give land. The central
government has allocated Rs 50 crore for this year and
another Rs 500 crore for the next five years, he said.
The premier institute will have undergraduate and postgraduate
courses, research and a hospital. “We have also
demanded that there should be more homeopathy dispensaries
in Haryana,” said Dr Harprakash Sharma, organising
secretary. “There are 20 dispensaries, all in Mewat
area and one in Panchkula.”
The two-day seminar that was inaugurated by Chief Minister
Bhupinder Singh Hooda focused on latest developments in
Homeopathy and advanced prescription techniques.

AYUSH Doctors Association paid tributes |
| IMPHAL,
APRIL 10: The 252nd birth anniversary of Dr Samuel
Hahnemann has been observed during a function jointly
organised by All Manipur AYUSH Doctors’ Association
and HMAI, Manipur at State Guest House here today.
The event was attended by Minister of Health and Family
Welfare Gaikhangam, president of HMAI Manipur Branch Dr
M Nara Singh and Director of Family Welfare Dr W Raghunath
as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Speaking at the occasion, Gaikhangam pointed out their
is the need to encourage development and popularisation
of the Homoeopathy in an economically backward States
like Manipur where medicinal plants are found abundantly.
It is on this direction that the State Government has
made the necessary preparation of setting up a 10-bedded
AYUSH Hospital at JN Hospital.
The said AYUSH Hospital is waiting to be commissioned,
he added.
While disclosing that the State Government has also been
making efforts to attach one AYUSH Hospital with each
of the District Hospitals with the main objective of spreading
awareness among the people on this effective yet cost
friendly method of treatment of various diseases. The
Health Minister informed that there are recognised 36
AYUSH doctors and 36 pharmacists under the Rural Health
Mission in Manipur..

CBE gets Four Corporation Dispensaries |
COIMBATORE:
APRIAL.8: Tamilnadu Homoeopathy federation and Similia
Health Academy conjointly hosted a scientific seminar at Anna
Auditorium of Tamilnadu Agricultural University. Inaugurating
the seminar Thiru Venkatachalam, the Mayor announced that four
Homoeopathic Dispensaries will be opened by the Corporation of
Coimbatore.
Dr.S. Radhakrishnan-, former principal, Government Homoeopathy
Medical College welcomed the gathering. Dr. R. Gnanasambandam,
President, Tamilnadu Homoeopathy Medical Council unveiled the
portrait of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. Dr.T.C.P. Nambiar presided over
the function. Dr.K. Arumugam , former member ,TNHMC, Dr.A. Thamarai
Selvan, Vice president TNHA also participated in the inaugural
session. Dr. G.P. Hahnemann, Chairman Board of Examinations, TNHMC
proposed vote of thanks.
Dr. Joseph Paul, Dr. Ajayan, Dr.G. Suresh Dr.R.Santhana Pandian
and Dr.B.T. Rudresh presented the papers following scientific
sessions. Dr.N.Karthikeyan and Dr. Winston Vargheese Conducted
quiz for students. Sharada Krishna Homoeopathic Medical college
students won the Winner trophy and Vinayaga Mission’s Homoeopathic
Medical college students won the Runner trophy out of five-college
participation. Dr.Rajaram, Secretary SHA ,Raj Mohan , Joint Secretary,
Dr.Rangasamy former member TNHMC co organized this program. The
event was attended approximately around 800 delegates.

should not be handed over the responsibility of giving homoeopathic medicines,
like the way they give allopathic medicines.” This was stated by

of India set up a national Council for Clinical Establishments and maintain
a national register . The Director General of Health Services would be
the chairman of the new Council, according to a ministry statement Representatives
